Absolutely. Your journey includes some real personal challenges. How do those shape your calling today?

Well, you know what's fascinating about it all is it it call all kind of stair steps. So it all started when I was young and I got my first job, and I I learned quickly that if you do what God says, things work out, even if it doesn't sound good in the natural. And one of those particular things was, you know, just being honest and upfront. I worked at Circuit City where I'm just getting in jobs. You know, I'm sure some people out there know what Circuit City is, and others are just gonna laugh. Like, what was that? What? Yes, it's basically like Best Buy, but was was a little different version of

it. And I used to sell TVs and I didn't do it the way that they wanted. I was the number one salesperson in all of the Southwest region, or I guess number two actually, number two in the Southwest region for all of Circuit City. And we were in Albuquerque, New Mexico. So the volume that we saw there was nothing like you'd see in California, but yet I was competing with guys in San Diego. So they came down and asked why and how, and if I was using their buying guides and telling them, you know, trying to sell everything. The answer was no. Uh, I was just being honest and trying to help people. Well, at that moment, I kind of had to decide whether I was going to just tow the company line or uh do what was embedded in me, what was taught, what my parents instilled in me, which was you know, to to do the right thing and be honest. And I just genuinely wanted to help people. So sometimes I'd tell people, don't buy that. That's a horrible product. And they would leave, and that was okay with me. And uh, but what ended up coming from that was growth. And I ended up making more money, doing better things because of it. Well, that little bit of faith, those little tiny seeds of just doing what my my parents taught me, which was biblical at the time, that was biblical, and I didn't realize it at the time. But that's really what started my whole journey was just those little tiny things and seeing how if you do the right thing, it does work out, even if it doesn't make sense at the time. As long as you continue to just do what's right, you will continue to grow. And then throughout my journey, I'd always reflect back on the last few things that I had to do in faith that worked out and where God blessed me. So when I had to run it, when I ran into situations where it was more challenging and a lot harder to do the right thing, I'd remember what God did to me, get for me in those smaller times, and it would help me in this new challenge. So, like as you go into engineering and uh you're responsible for people's lives and things, and there's a lot of money on the line. And I I eventually became an engineering manager, and I built satellites, lasers, missiles, batteries, solar rays, you name it. We worked on it, I worked on the SLS rocket. And there are situations where you have to decide whether you're going to do what God raised us and taught us to do and reflect truth and honesty. And there was times where you could lose your job by doing the

right thing. And, you know, people wouldn't don't like to say stuff like that, but it but in the end, it's true. You have to sit stand up for what's right, and they wouldn't come out and just say that you're you're fired for telling the truth. They find a roundabout way to do it, but your job is on the line for doing the right thing. But after doing the whole Circuit City stuff and learning how it grows, how you can grow in faith and it'll work, it helped. And then eventually it got to the point where I was making career and life-altering decisions based on the leading of the spirit, and that was fascinating, fascinating as well. So, like, I don't know if we want to get into that, but we uh we I picked up my entire family and we moved out here to London, Kentucky from California because God led us to. And that was a very challenging thing to do because at the time I was uh engineering manager, and a lot of people were retired at where I was. And I was a young engineer and God blessed my path, and I was able to move up very quickly in my career. But we had two kids in California, we knew we didn't want to raise them there, and I I knew God was calling me elsewhere. There's

A Risky Move To Kentucky

a long story embedded in this too, lots of God stories in this, but the short of it is we traveled around the nation and ended up landing in London, Kentucky. I ended up flying out here and driving around, and I could feel the spirit just overwhelmingly, and I've never felt that before, but say this is where you're meant to be, this is where you're supposed to be. And I was thinking, like, how? Like, we're in the middle of nowhere. There's no engineering firms here. Like, what do you what do you want me to do out here? But it was so clear that what we were supposed to do was be there that I went back to uh Boeing and I said, Hey, I I want to move to the the East Coast to do some work. The next day I had a job offer to be uh avionics power systems engineer for the SLS rocket. And I was like, okay, so we were gonna do it. Then weird things started happening. And you know, I I always I now know that God's working, even when it's weird and strange. And now my ears perk up when something crazy's happening. I'm like, oh, something's something good's about to happen. But Boeing was not gonna give us the money to move. So we were gonna have to come up with the money for our ourselves, which was different because at that stage in in my career, they've already moved us out to California from New Mexico and they paid me as an intern to do it. Now, as an engineering manager, they're telling me to do it by myself. It was just odd. What I realized was this was an opportunity for us to move where we wanted to instead of where they were expecting us to go, which was Huntsville, Alabama. So this is this is where it gets crazy as a man. Like, all right, I'm I'm responsible for my two kids and my wife. My wife does not work, she stays at home and takes care of the kids. So I have to make sure we're fed. Well, I told her like God wants us to move to London, Kentucky. I have no idea why, but we're gonna go. And there's a good chance that I could lose my job doing this because I'm not going where they think I'm going. I'm just gonna move here and basically ask for forgiveness. She said, okay. I said, if something happens and I lose my job, I'll go work at Lowe's or something. We'll we'll be poor, but we'll we will eat. I'll find a way to make us get get food on the table. So I was only able to do that because of the other steps of faith that I've done in the past and saw how God worked and was always there to help me and grow and do those things. So I we did it. We jumped and we moved out here to London, Kentucky, and it worked out. My like three, four weeks later, my boss asked, like, hey, like, when are you coming into work? I was like, Oh, I'm not gonna be in, but I'll come down if you need me. I'm like five hours from the site now. So give me a day's notice and I can drive down if if there's problems. And he's like, Okay, and there's no problems. And I did that for five years or so working remotely because of following the leading with God. It was very, very interesting. Yeah, and what's what's fascinating about that is it kind of helped us for the next stages in our life, which God set up some miracles. So we had a our third child was born out here, and he his name's Elijah, and he was born with PKU. For those of you who don't know, it's an amino uh amino acid disorder where your body doesn't break down proteins properly. And something I learned is you have to have like protein is literally in everything. I didn't realize how everything had protein, but it's it's an absolute everything. And if your body doesn't break it down, it creates these things called feet that's short, but I call it feet, PHE, and it's

poisonous to the brain. And eventually it'll make you it'll lower your IQ by quite a substantial margin. Well, he was born with it. We were out here, and just so happens that the UK has the best PKU specialist in the world. It's like, oh wow, that's probably why God wanted us here. I'm like, interesting, fascinating. So that helped build my faith. Then we found a church after that that was, which was also a God-leading thing. People just came on and offered us to go to this one church that they started believing in healing or started doing healing Sundays and things the week or so after we got there. I felt compelled to go up there. We had hands laid on him. I started crying. I got my child up there, they laid hands on him and he was healed. I could feel it come in, I could feel the presence of God. It was an amazing, wonderful thing. Phi or or this PKU is an uncurable disease, they say, or a disorder that is impossible to cure. But God, God is creator of all and can do absolutely anything and everything. And it was fascinating and amazing to witness and to see and be a part of because I got to see the actual results beforehand of how his fee levels were high and how he was in the danger zone. And then after he had hands laid on him, it was gone. His numbers went back to what normal people have. And this kid eats chicken and steak, and he's our our biggest meat eater. We have five kids now, and he eats more meat than any of them all combined. So I'm glad he was healed from that because that would have been a rough life.

Did he did when you took when um your son was healed? Did you take him back to the doctors and say, hey, I believe my son is healed from this disease?

SPEAKER_01 11:28

Yes, I did. And that was so this is something that I had to learn a lot about on my faith walk. And for anybody who's going through this stuff, who's received a miracle, you do have to be very careful about who you share with all this stuff at the beginning when your faith is being built up, because you will have people that will deny that you received your healing. And we I had to fight and argue. I actually did not get, they would not take the result, they would not test him for like six or six months to a year. We couldn't get them to give us a test. Then they finally gave us the test, but it was like a saliva test, and the kid was he was too young at the time to do it. He didn't produce enough. So we had to wait until I ended up through business, ended up meeting uh a provider that would actually test him, and all the numbers were were normal. We still haven't gotten a DNA test, which is something on the list of things to do, but all of his actual numbers are so low that the standard um it just doesn't pick up anymore anymore. So it's not that it's not being flagged. But it's I want to really take a minute to say this. While we were going through this, the devil tried to mess with us and hurt our faith because we were very young in this and we were growing in healing. We didn't know that healing was ours, and that that was part of God uh Jesus dying on the cross was redeeming us from the curse of the law, which is sickness and all these other things, all of the curses, which is part of it. This is in that group. Anyways, when he got sick, he got sick a couple months after this happened and his levels popped up. And it was it was weird. Like, well, how can that be? That can't, that's not a that's it's impossible. And it it was impossible when you look at all the things. My pastor was healed from leukemia, and he had a similar situation where he had had things, symptoms come up, and he said it's it's the devil trying to show or or convince you that you're not healed. And when we were able to stand on the word of God, everything came back to in line and was normal again. So it's very important to always go back to your truth and not focus on symptoms or things that are happening in in the natural, because we have to live by faith and just keep relying on the word of God. And the more we do that and the stronger we become in the word of God, the more we have control over the symptoms and the things that are happening around.

You mentioned about doing a DNA test on your son. I'm sure for that illness. What would what would that do? Or what would that tech for?

SPEAKER_01 14:02

So there's just flags in your DNA that that um show that if you you have this PKU genetic disorder, it's like um they start they start doing it for babies. They do it for babies when you're born. There's this huge test that they do three days after you're born. They get your blood and they they run all those tests. The the numbers would just help verify that it's gone. It's not, it wouldn't really do anything for anybody. The reason why I want to do it is for the naysayers because I know he's healed because I see the act the other numbers, like the fee numbers, which it can't change. So this is the the like a key point with with actual PKU. It's how your body your body can either digest it or it cannot digest it. So what they're doing for kids is they're measuring how much protein you're intaking and how high your fee levels get. Once your fee levels hit a certain point, I think it's six, that could be off, but it becomes dangerous and they need to drop the level of protein, and you have to take this supplement, which is broken down protein, to make sure you get the nutrients you need to survive. So everybody's different, and even people who have PKE digest so much of pro so much protein, and it's okay. So, like five grams of protein for this kid will be all right, but if he eats six, it won't digest and it'll be poisoned. So they're they're trying to follow that. Well, what threw them for a loop is all of a sudden my kid's older, eating five, six times as much, and his levels are lower, which is impossible to happen. Like you can't, your body can't learn how to digest more protein if it doesn't have the uh muscles, if you will, inside it to do so. And for all those who are, you know, medical people out there, I'm sure I'm not explaining this perfectly uh because I'm not a medical guy. This is just the engineering side of me taking the the the main points and boiling it down to you know what it what it is. Sure.

A lot of your messages, a lot of your a lot of your messages seems to touch on growth through struggle. What does it mean to grow in the talk spiritually?

SPEAKER_01 16:13

So that that's a good question. It's it's what you probably have already heard. It's being in the word when no one's around, and you have to fill up your cup of faith every day, and the more you're in the word, staying and and meditating on the promises of God, the deeper your roots grow. So grow

Growing In The Dark Through Scripture

in the dark is is basically about that. It's growing in faith and how when you're in the middle of a turmoil, in the middle of a battle, if you can rely on the word of God and focus on that, instead of all the things that are going on around you, you will find yourself with supernatural peace and joy in the darkest of times. It's it's I've gotten to the point where I don't really, even the dark times are the bad times that people say, they don't bother me as much because I can see God's always working through them. There's always something coming out of it. God doesn't do bad things, God just takes bad things that have happened and turns them into good. And if we can just meditate and understand his promises fully, and the only way we do that is by renewing our mind, which is being in the word every day. And faith comes by hearing and hearing of the word of God. So if we just stick with that and stick in the word, he'll show you what you need, he'll bring you to the scriptures that you need to read. And if you can do that, you'll you'll grow deep roots. So when the devil comes or evil things or bad things happen, you're not swayed or moved by it because you know the truth. And the truth is what's going to protect you in this. One of the benefits of having deep roots is that eventually you're you're gonna sprout into a big tree. And you know, the Bible talks about the mustard seed, right? One of the small seeds. The mustard tree grows out and actually has branches, and your faith can be um a place of rest and shelter for all those around you. It can actually bring people to God just by seeing how far you've come in faith and what you're doing in your terminal and in your darkest times. And what's amazing from that perspective is God can take your bad time, but because you spent time in the Word and have grown in faith and have become so deep and enriched in that, He can bring other people out of the darkness because of where you're at and how you're handling your situation. There's yeah, a lot kind of embedded in embedded in that.

How do you help people feel who feel stuck, discovered, or like God is silent in their life?

SPEAKER_01 18:41

So, you know, that's a it's a good question. There's um there's a lot of ways to look at this. And God can't talk to us all the time. Me being a father, there's times when you need to sit down and be quiet, and you got to let your kids figure something out. Because they know the rules, they know the understanding, they they have a baseline, understanding what's going on, and sometimes it's up to up to you to kind of pick the path. Now, it kind of depends on what you're going through. If this is a decision basis or if this is like a hard time, God might just need you to work through this, right? So, as an example, I'll I'll tell my kids, like, all right, it's time to play, you guys can go play. But I'm not gonna sit there and tell them, all right, you need to go play tag, you need to go play this, or you need to go do that. It's your time to grow. So if you're in a situation where you need to make a decision, well, it might be God just saying, like, I you know what the rules, you know what I've given you my word. Now I want you to go forth and be prosperous. I want you to go do something that you feel led to do, and then I will bless that. God will bless your decisions and help you as long as it aligns with the word of God. So sometimes he's sitting quietly because he wants you to make a move. God's already moved and done everything for us and given everything we need. We have the great helper, the Holy Spirit to help talk to us. And there's been times where I'll be making a decision and I'll I won't have peace about it. When you don't have peace about it, it is not from God and you need to step away from it. If there's peace in what you're doing, you're gonna be fine. So in those quiet times, he's not always gonna tell you audibly to do something. You need to move out of faith and understand that he's gonna help you. Another kind of antidote to this, my daughter was writing her name. She was like three at the time, and she got half of her name down, and then it was like scribbles. I knew what she was writing, I knew she was writing her name, and I said, Good job, Isabel. You did such a fantastic job uh writing your name. My son's like, she didn't write her name, she only got like three letters. I was like, Yeah, but that's not the point. She I knew what she was trying to do, and and she's she did a good job with that. I met her halfway. She was trying to take a leap of faith, knowing like this is what I'm trying to do. I knew that's what she's doing, so I met her halfway. If I am a wicked man and I know and I can do such things for my daughter to help grow her, how much more can your heavenly father do for you when you're reaching out in faith? So if it's quiet and you're reaching out in faith, trying to do something good that aligns with the word, God will help you and pull you forward and bless that. So even though it's quiet, he's always there with you.

What is it that you do now to help people?

So I do lots of things. I am a digital marketer right now, is my main business. I help people grow their businesses, and that's mostly restoration companies, but I help all sorts of businesses. So I am starting to do coaching on the side, and that's because of this book. And God's led me to write this book. I'm not a writer, I am not an author. I don't even really do talking all that well, but a lot of it's not me. Uh like, and I'm gonna go on a little rant here a little bit, but the the book

was written very quickly in about three or four days, because God Spoke through me to do it all because I said, I can't do this without you. And my entire schedule, I was working two jobs at the time, got cleared for this. From all that, what I found is that I'm actually supposed to be having conversations with people to help them get through things. I keep running into individuals from my business side of things who need help and guidance growing in the dark. And it's been different for every single person. But it's fascinating what's been coming out of me to help these individual people to grow their business and to grow spiritually. They all, all the business owners that I are going through something, going through some kind of struggle. And each one of them has been so different at what they needed to do because it's so individualized, is fascinating to honestly be a part of the conversation where the spirit just comes out and kind of guides them based on things. So yes, coaching is something I'm moving into. And it's something I'm not honestly very confident about like putting out there, but I'm again stepping out in faith because this is I've seen the fruit of me talking and helping these people, but I am working through that right now. So answer pointly point blank right now. The book is a great way to get started. And it's it is about growing in faith. And it takes anybody, we all need to grow in faith, all of us. It doesn't matter where we're at. Even Paul said, you know, he he was not there yet, and Paul was much greater than a lot of uh a lot of us. So this book takes the principles that are from the Bible and helps you take those seeds and help grow and cultivate them and protect them so that no matter where you're at in your faith journey, you can go further and and become more uh in-depth in the word and uh grow in faith. And you can find it on Amazon and all that good stuff.

What did your song healing teach you about muhtachi faith?

SPEAKER_01 24:28

Well, so what I learned through that whole journey is that God can only do what we have enough faith to accept. So we it is written, you know, if you speak to this tree, you can cast this tree in or this this mountain, and you can cast this mountain and you can throw them out and write. You can do these amazing things, but you have to have the faith to do it. What I learned from that was a lot of this book, you have to take and build on faith. If you're not building on faith and growing in it, when bad times or big situations come, you're not gonna have the bank of faith to do it. Miracles can happen, period, right? Regardless, anytime God can touch, someone can come lay hands on you and you can be healed. But you personally, you can grow in faith so that you can be a conduit and you can start producing these things and being able to, well, it's not you, it's God in you. And if you don't have the faith to protect what you've been given, things that have been given to you can be taken away. And I think that's fascinating too. And it's not God taking it away, God gives. But if you let the lies of the devil come in and manipulate you, you can lose what you've been given, whether it's healing, prosperity, literally anything, although any miracle can be taken back if you're not fighting against it. And that whole process, if we we were in faith before that healing took place. So that healing actually took place about April time frame. And my wife and I came into agreement about six months to eight months before that, that we believed in healing and that we knew God can do all things and that our son will be healed. And we started praying about it. We started speaking the word over our son constantly before we had hands laid on him, before we even knew that that could be a thing, that that could happen. We just had faith. And we knew we had that faith because of that huge jump I took from my career, that huge leap of faith, and God blessed us abundantly through all that. There's a bunch of stories embedded in all this where you can see God's work putting it all on the line for us, helping us get here and taking care of us. So we had that platform to build on. And that was, we were able to make a jump to the healing, and it took all of our faith to handle that situation. But then when we had that, now we can build on that and do more and greater things. And I think that's the biggest takeaway is that we just need to keep growing in faith. And God has so much more for us if we have the faith to receive it.

Oh man. That ended up being one of my most fond memories. So I was an intern, I got an internship at Boeing while I was in college, had

no money. Boeing was gonna pay me uh to go work out there, but they weren't paying me enough to pay for their own housing. So they said that they would give us housing, and I can't remember what it was. It was like $3,000 a month, and I can tell you, I was not making that. So uh I was like, I can't pay you to go work for you. So I went on Craigslist, found the cheapest place I could find. I ended up renting a loft over someone's living room that was actually a laundry room with a box spring. Didn't know that at the time until I got there, but that was intense. So I loaded up my car and I drove, drove to California, and on the way there, it broke down, and um I did have to rig it with a Gatorade bottle and a t-shirt, and uh it was an electrical issue for all those who care, and it it was it was fascinating. But I was able to get to work and all these crazy things kept happening. I was I was uh went to El Segundo, basically the city, and I was I got a place within a couple miles from work, for those of you don't know all the areas. I went to work the first day, found out that they actually were gonna let me work in a remote location that was in Torrance, which was 20 miles away from where we were at. It's like, well, I would have picked that spot. I would have lived out there, it would have been cheaper, by the way. I would have picked that spot if I would have known, but they didn't tell me. So it's like, oh my goodness, so how am I gonna make this work? I don't have the money to fix my car, I don't have any of this stuff. Well, one of one of the guys at work offered to give me a bike. By the way, I did not like biking, especially at the time. Literally a week before I left, one of my friends competed in bike races, and I went with him. We went like half a mile. I was like, forget this, I'm going back to the room. You come visit me when you're done. This is ridiculous. The next week, I was out there and I had to bike 20 miles to get to work and then 20 miles back. I got the bike on a Friday and I tested it out on Saturday to make sure I could do it. Uh, once I knew I could do it, I was like, well, I guess this is it. That's what we're gonna do. Through that, I found out also that the um the people that were renting me that place weren't gonna let me use their kitchen. And I was just getting to the point, like, how am I gonna do this? I can't drive to work, I can't eat here, like I can't afford to eat out every day. What are the what am I gonna do? And it just kind of hit me. I had this epiphany and at first I was I was irritated. I'm like, oh, this is crazy, all this stuff keeps happening to me. And then I just started laughing on the side of the road. Like, man, how how come in a year from now this will be a funny story? But right now it's miserable. I was like, what's the difference between a year from now and now? I just started laughing. It is kind of funny. This is all ridiculous. If I were to write all the things that happened to me within those first like three days, it would sound made up. It would sound like I just completely made the story up because there's no way all these things happened in this order. But it did. So I just started laughing. And that gave me like I started looking at things like a challenge. Like, all right, what else is gonna go wrong? Like, let's let's see what else I can overcome while I'm here and doing it. And things did keep happening, and I kept overcoming things. And through that summer, I ended up making um breaking through some physical barriers that I was having problems with. I was trying to get in good shape at the time, and I couldn't get past some certain areas that I was working in, and I was able to break through those because I was biking 40 miles a day. I I also realized that you spend a lot more money on food than gas if you're biking 40 miles. Who would have thought? Some people say save money by biking, but that's not true. Um and then it just changed my whole character because now I have this whole new perception on life. Like, what doesn't matter what goes wrong? Like, how am I gonna overcome this? How's God gonna work in this to make it better? The guy showing up to give me, let me borrow an old Walmart beat up bike. That was God. Who does that on a Friday? He just so happened to have his bike with him that he was gonna get rid of. It was God placing things to make sure that I was able to overcome the things that were happening to me. Whether God put them there or not, I don't know. But it was fascinating to just see him work through it and then the progression of life that I got out of it and how it completely shaped and changed all the things from there on out. doing all the things that nobody else sees, right? It's it's becoming a better person when no one else is around and really establishing deep roots. And if that's if there people could take away one thing from all this, it's read your Bible daily. And if you read it out loud, you can change the atmosphere around you and change who you are. And I highly recommend doing that for everybody.
